Women in general are known to be better at managing finances. Globally financial surveys have shown that women investors have generated more returns compared to men. A recent survey done by ET Money from March 2021 emphasises on the amazing finding that from 2017 to 2020 women investors hit homerun in returns. Even during the global pandemic; women faired better and generated 14% returns while men managed 11% But sadly; globally women still earn 25% less compared to men.

Gender parity when it comes to pay; is still on the vision board of every ambitious working woman. So being smart with one's finances is a must during these unpredictable times. Now there are many varied options; to invest your savings for better returns. Here's a look at some; that manage to generate decent returns.

Mutual Funds

Mutual Funds is an awesome tool for investment, no matter if you are a newbie or a pro. Newbie women investors should definitely think about SIP-Systematic Investment Plan. A certain amount from your savings is auto-debited from one's account for SIP with decent returns as well for one's future financial needs.

Stocks Trading

This has been a male dominated financial investment option since a long time. Stocks are basically equities that a company opts out; for generating money from the market and potential investor. So you become a small stake owner of the particular company; whose share you buy. But now women investors are being smart about their stock options; by betting on the one's they feel sure about and smiling from ear to ear; seeing the returns in their demat accounts.

Gold

This precious yellow metal has been the all time favourite investment option; especially for women. But gold prices tend to fluctuate often and returns vary accordingly. But globally even male investors; still bet on golden returns.

ETF-Exchange Traded Fund

ETF is a bouquet of securities; that looks into a varied array of assets be it stocks, currencies, equity, debit, commodities or even bonds. You have the option of buying a stake of the bouquet; just like betting on the shares of a company for better returns. ETF trading can easily be done in the stock market while giving diversified returns like mutual funds.

Women's financial independence is empowering and they should be very smart with their finances for a stress free, relaxed and secure future.

Working women globally wish for a future; where gender equality and pay parity co-exist without much hassle. As some say the future is woman and they can turn wealthier investors with a smart investment portfolio.
