Unconditional Love
Her eyes light up,
Hearing me unlock the door,
She greets me with the warmest hug,
Every day like I am her only world,
She taught me real love,
A love that’s oh so pure,
She loves me too the moon and back,
A pat and a belly rub suffices for her,
She is my companion,
She is my friend and family,
Her licks and wagging tail,
