Finley had a tough childhood. She had been in and out of foster homes. She never found a place she could call home. But as they say. Everything that happens in life; good or bad has a purpose. One has to believe that something better is just round the corner.

Finley was not a talkative teenager. She was quite independent and kept to herself. Some found her introverted nature to be laced with a tinge of arrogance. But she was her own person and few people understood the real her. She was misunderstood most of the time and never really found a home.

Home is a place where there is no pretence and one doesn’t have to wear a mask. You feel at home where you can just be your true self and everyone around you loves you and accepts you for the real you.

Finley finally found her home when she met her mom, Rachel, who had wanted to adopt a child as a single parent for a long time. Rachel was waiting for the rules to change and she found her baby in Finley. She was a grown baby but Finley finally found her home in Rachel. Finley’s stay with Rachel began with a week but they both became a family forever. Finley had found her person and her home in Rachel.

Home is your person and their unconditional love for you.
